PricePally, the leading online grocery platform for quality, authentic groceries, is partnering with Trade Lenda, a pioneering digital lender to provide accessible loans to smallholder farmers, suppliers, and aggregators within its ecosystem. The initiative aims to remove long-standing financial bottlenecks in the agricultural value chain and enable food system actors to scale sustainably.
The partnership, which officially commenced in June 2025, is structured as an initial 12-month pilot, with potential for extension based on performance and demand. At its core, this collaboration reflects PricePally’s broader mission to support Nigeria’s food system by connecting farmers, suppliers, and end-consumers more efficiently and sustainably.
Eligible participants include farmers, suppliers, and aggregators working with or approved by PricePally; they can now access fast and affordable loans via a joint channel.
Trade Lenda plays a major role in this collaboration, bringing its strong track record of supporting SMEs across emerging markets with innovative, tech-driven financial solutions. Through this partnership, Trade Lenda reinforces its commitment to building resilient food systems by enabling access to credit for underserved value chain players who are often excluded from traditional financial systems.
Recognising the impact of the partnership, Luther Lawoyin, PricePally CEO, said, “Access to affordable capital is one of the biggest constraints in the agricultural value chain. Our partnership with Trade Lenda changes that; offering our farmers and suppliers financing at significantly lower rates and on terms designed specifically for their realities. This unlocks growth, improves fulfillment speed, and strengthens the entire food supply chain from farm to table.” Adeshina Adewunmi, CEO and Founder of Trade Lenda also said, “Shared economic prosperity for women and youth is a catalyst for Africa’s growth and we are happy to walk the talk with PricePally supporting more farmers and their suppliers”

How the Trade Lenda Loan Scheme Works?
To qualify, applicants must have an active or upcoming supply record with PricePally, demonstrate good character and credit history, and be open to financial literacy, creditworthiness and record-keeping training to buttress their knowledge of Financial management. The credit initiative aims to not only fuel productivity but also equip recipients with the skills to manage funds responsibly and improve long-term financial sustainability.
Commenting on the alliance, Benjamin Ogunbola, GSMA Project Manager for Climate Resilience and Adaptation at PricePally stated, “At PricePally, we believe that a strong and inclusive food system begins with the right support for the people who power it. This partnership with Trade Lenda is not just about providing loans, it’s about unlocking real potential for those who feed our cities and communities.”
This partnership aligns with PricePally’s commitment to leveraging technology and strategic collaborations to solve core problems in food distribution, productivity, and access, while positioning Trade Lenda as a trusted credit enabler for Nigeria’s evolving food ecosystem.
