PricePally is excited to announce the Cook and Hack contest, an exciting opportunity where you can cook and hack your way to win a share of ₦5M!

Get ready to showcase your cooking creativity and kitchen genius in the PricePally Cook & Hack Contest! You stand a chance to win a share of ₦5 million. So, are you ready to showcase your cooking creativity and kitchen genius? Here’s how to participate:

• Cook a delicious Nigerian dish using ingredients from PricePally ingredients OR share a smart kitchen hack, food storage, or preservation tip
• Post your entry on Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter using #PricepallyCookAndHack

The contest, aimed at celebrating the creativity, curiosity, and innovation that defines the Nigerian culture, is set to run for thirty (30) days, from 21st March to 20th April, 2025. During this period, PricePally invites participants to impress the community with flavorful Nigerian recipes, smart kitchen hacks, indigenous meal ideas, and trusted food preservation tips—using ingredients purchased from PricePally. 

How It Works

Creating your video

• Purchase ingredients from PricePally (fresh foods or packaged). You can also use the promo code “COOKANDHACK” to get ₦1000 off for orders of at least ₦20,000.
• Next, choose your entry asset: a cooking or hack video.
  • Cooking videos should showcase the process of making your meal, from recipe prep to the final dish. Be creative with your recipes.
  • Hack videos should demonstrate your smart food storage, preservation, or preparation techniques.

Post & Tag

• Upload your video to Instagram or TikTok using #PricepallyCookAndHack and tag @PricePally. You can also post on Twitter.
• Set your account to public so we can see your entry.
• You can submit multiple entries to increase your chances of winning. However, each entry must be unique, showcasing a different recipe or kitchen hack. More entries = more chances to win.

Judging and Selection Process

We will select winners based on a combination of community voting and panel judging.

• 30% Community Voting: The higher the engagement—likes, shares, and comments—on your videos, the more points you score.
• 70% Panel Judging (by PricePally team) based on:
  • Creativity – Unique recipes, storytelling, visual appeal.
  • Originality – Fresh ideas, innovative use of ingredients or kitchen hacks.
  • Presentation – Well-shot, engaging, high-quality content.

Grand winners will be announced after the contest ends, while community impact winners will be selected weekly.

Who Can Participate?

1. The contest is open to both men and women.
2. Participants must reside in PricePally’s primary operating locations—Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, or Port Harcourt—to be eligible.
3. Both new and existing PricePally shoppers can participate.
4. The following individuals are not eligible to participate:
   • Influencers who currently work with PricePally.
   • Employees of PricePally and their immediate family members.

All participants must meet these criteria to be considered for the contest.

Content Usage Rights: By participating in the Pricepally Cook & Hack Contest, participants grant Pricepally the right to use submitted content (videos, images, captions) for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, leveraging social media, website features, and paid advertising. We may repurpose high-performing contest entries as ads to sustain brand awareness beyond the contest period.

Prizes to be Won

The Cook and Hack contest is set to reward up to four sets of winners:

• Grand Winners (Top 5): The best five videos win ₦500,000 each.
• Runner-ups (Next 10): The next best ten videos get ₦200,000 each

The grand winners and runner-ups will be announced at the end of the contest. The grand winners and runner-ups will get an exclusive invite to become our Partner Influencer.

• Community Impact Winners (30): We will reward the next best 30 videos with high engagement with food discounts worth ₦50,000, credited to their PricePally wallet.
• Participation Reward: Every verified entry that does not make the winner list will receive a ₦5,000 food discount, credited to their PricePally wallet.

We will distribute the Participation Reward and Community Impact prizes weekly.

Note: For participants with multiple contest entries, we will calculate the total performance of all entries for judging.
